Registration Rules and League Registration Policies
Early Registration Discount
An early registration discount of $15.00 applies to registrations paid in full by February 15th. If for any reason a cheque is returned to TCMTFA, the registration is considered to be unpaid and this discount no longer applies. If for any reason TCMTFA is requested by the person registering a player to hold their cheque past February 15th, this registration is considered unpaid and the discount no longer applies.
Family Discounts
Family Rate For all Divisions in either the house-league or Predator levels, but not between the two levels:
- 1st member regular price (e.g. $375)
- 2nd family member deduct a further $25.00 for that member (e.g. $350)
- 3rd family member deduct a further $25.00 for that member (e.g. $325)
Registration Fees - At Time Of Registration
When registering your child in the league, payment may be made by cash or by cheque. Depending on the time of registration, Early Registration Discounts may apply. A minimum of $100 must be paid immediately, and the remainder may be made in post-dated instalments via cheque over a period no longer than 90 days, or no later than two weeks before the teams first officially scheduled practice, whichever time is lesser. ALL registrations must include post-dated cheques should you choose to take that option.
Registration Fees - Payment In Full Due Date
All registration fees are due and payable in full no later than two weeks before the teams first officially scheduled practice. Any registrations accepted after that date will need to be paid in full, or have a 50% deposit upfront followed with a post-dated cheque for the remainder in 30 days.
Fee Assistance Registrations
Any registrant who requires a fee assist program, may be placed on a waiting list until confirmation of sponsorship has occurred. Please be aware, that many Fee Assist programs require applications be sent in 2 months before the season has begun. Furthermore, some programs will only cover a portion of the total fees, and parents may be required to pay the difference.
NSF Cheques
The TCMTFA NSF Cheque policy requires that all cheques returned for any reason are subject to a $25.00 service charge. All registration fees must be paid in full prior to equipment distribution and if a returned cheque is outstanding, fees will be considered unpaid and the player will not be provided equipment or placed on a team. If any cheque is returned after equipment distribution, the fees are considered unpaid until this cheque and service charge is paid and the player will not be placed on a team. If there are repeat occurrences of returned cheques, the cheque writer will be placed on a cash-only list which the Treasurer will maintain and no further cheques will be accepted from them.
Delinquent Accounts
Any outstanding funds throughout the season, by means of NSF, confirmation of Fee Assist funds, or by not having post-dated cheques on file, can put your child's placement on a team in jeopardy. If your child is already assigned to a team, they can be taken off the roster and not allowed to participate until the issue is amicably resolved.
